Finally, I've decided to spend a little on my own domain. My website isn't done yet, but I'm just parking my domain on the web, just in case someone has the same name with me :) right.
http://www.faznuramalia.com
Hopefully my name does sound like a designer, lol.
Site will be up by the end of November.

empty & cold.

By Faznur Amalia in

If words could explain how i felt, I would write a book.
Its creepy when someone could feel my raging anger even when I'm in silence.
I anyhow, can be the most happiest and the most depressing person at the same time.

Of Momentus.

By Faznur Amalia in ,

I took the right course for the three right reasons. First, no exam, second, no exam, third, no goddamn exams! All we designers do on finals are projects, projects and more projects.
It's the last semester for me in LKW already & I can be officially called a senior. pffft.

Momentous, or Moment.us with the silent O is the name for our final exhibition happening around end of November. TWO months left, means two months of late night work and groggy day time.

Sadly, this a rejected logo of mine upon proposal. The logo was too fun, and it reflected personally on me instead of the class. True that.

With the power of four, my classmate & I spent our last weekend brainstorming, to recreate a whole new concept of Moment.us's logo. && this is the end result.

Oh, I've just lost my blogging mojo :( lots of work need to be done.

of Lope Lope.

LopeLope Camera Bag, cThree.

My mail finally came today (again). This time, the mailman brought me a camera + casual bag I might add. I've been looking for pretty, fancy bags for my DLSR. Its just too much when I'm carrying a handbag and a camera sling bag all at once. And thus, finally, something ordinary caught my eye. Yes, ironic isn't it when I mentioned previously in my post about being ordinary. Well in this case, my being ordinary camera bag case is extra-ordinary! what makes it special is that, its not ordinary to have a camera bag that is NOT ordinary.

This bag is called Lope Lope, made by a brand called Standard Number from Korea. Boy, stuffs from Korea sure don't come cheap as what I've thought.

Quality was satisfactory I suppose, and I'm estimating it will last about 1-2 years in my custody :) I'm a rascal like that. The fact that it was a little but dissapointing it wasn't exactly made of PVC leather, more like a layer thin elastic leather look fabric being glued to multiple layers of fabric lining, despite the cuts I found in certain areas. Imagine when sharp edges glides through the surface of the bag? Nightmare! Picture the 90's faux leather sofa being scratched by a cat? NOOOO.

Camera is protected by sponge compartments, which is a plus, but was quite tight keeping my 550 D. If i were to have bigger lens, it wouldn't fit definitely. Me? I don't need a bigger lens, so blargh! Bag is secured with metal magnetic clasp, which is strong. I don't mind, it was the reason why I bought it, for an easy let-me-take-my-camera-now-to-shoot-that-only-once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Now I can go shopping or even weekend outing without looking like a freshmen on photography assignment!

All in all, despite the cons I've written, it was a good buy for someone casual, like me!

I don't really have a good eye on malay traditional costumes, but this? How can I pass to that? :(
I'm only a few kilometers away from that shop, but getting there is a total fuss.

of camera straps.

By Faznur Amalia in

I've found the word EOS 550D written brightly with white embroidery on my camera strap makes you ordinary. If ordinary makes you professional which includes black, red and white all over, I'm out! Since my camera is a 'she' herself, I've been looking for some fancy strap to make it look more feminine and not be ashamed to put it around my neck. Call me fussy, but I don't like big words, big brands that shouts for attention on my stuff.

these are my few favs.

etsy, $37.99

the price can be a little bit harsh on my pocket tho. Being a designer myself, I've got to find a solution :) Here's a version of mine :

price? F.O.C .

I wish for a sewing machine just right about now :)

Catch me if you can.

Yes, another blog of mine ready to be deleted again.
Blogging was fun I suppose, tumblr in fact was an enjoyable experience.
Only sometimes I'm a little bit paranoid, of my work & such.
Reblogging of the tumblr function is uncool actually. It makes others take credit of the work that you did. pffft. I can be selfish in that way.

anyhow :) glad you found me again.
